The Allen Park Police Department will take voluntary non-criminal fingerprints for reasons as established by the Michigan State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation. These reasons include but are not limited to background checks for employment and personal records checks.
Fingerprints will be taken by FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE
between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Please remember, we cannot guarantee the availability of an officer to perform this function.

Due to the sensitive nature of law enforcement operations the following rules must be observed by those wishing to have their fingerprints taken:
- Our fingerprint machine is located in our lockup facility. Therefore the status of our lockup facility may require extra time for fingerprints in some circumstances. We ask that you allow up to one hour the fingerprint process. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
- We request that you arrive with the appropriate completed paperwork..
- No weapons are permitted inside the Police Department. If necessary you may be asked to submit to a pat down prior to entering the lockup facility.
