The City Administrator's Office is responsible for the executive management and coordination of resources to successfully address the broad and diverse operations of the City of Allen Park. The City Administrator provides leadership, vision, direction, and problem-solving support to City Departments, implements City Council policies, working with the Mayor and Council to meet strategic and financial planning goals.

Duties Include:

  • Management & Administration
  • Organizational Development
  • City Budget & Financial Planning
  • Interact with bargaining units to negotiate labor agreements
  • Mayor & Council Support and  Relations
  • Community Relations
  • Work with State and Federal lawmakers and representatives
  • Intergovernmental Relations
  • Liaison to the State Receivership Transition Advisory Board
